74 days to go!!! My fiance and I will be spending our honeymoon in STX. Here's my question. Since he is a smoker, is there a dry bag that will hold his cigarettes, lighter, wallet, sunglasses that he can strap on when we go to the various beaches for a day of snorkeling and exploring the island's diverse beaches?? I tried snorkel mart.com and snorkel city.com No luck. Any suggestions? How much cash do you carry with you on an average day? Please let us know. This is our 1st trip to the Caribbean.

Did a search and came up with this from cocosmom:

I bought my dry bags e-bay. 3 for about $20 with shipping. All had cords, clear plastic with roll/velcro tops. One was wallet size, one quart size, one fit towel & camera. Larger than a large ziploc size. All worked great. New $300 camera & hubby went totally underwater getting in the water on the way back to boat at the baths Google dry bags.

You might also check out a product called "aquapac". I plan to purchase one for my camera and one for my mp3 player. I plan to use them for protection on the beach, not underwater, but I understand they can be used for snorkeling also. You're going to have a ball! I really envy you- I don't go back until Christmas. Be sure to post a trip report for us. Happy tripping!

Looked on e-bay where I bought mine & found a listing. Typein 3 waterproof bags for kayak. It is good for 5 more days. Looks like the ones I bought last fall. I also invested in t he otterbox for my ipod & love it. Kept sand out...didn't take it in the water. Would be a good investment for pool use.

Hi Kazmor,

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! We usually carry around $50 cash and a credit card. In case you haven't heard, the jewelry is very tempting on St. Croix! Sonja's original Hook bracelet, ib design's Infinity bracelet,Brian at Cruzan Gold's original Knot bracelet, etc, so you might want a card in case something strikes your fancy. My niece and her new husband just came back from honeymooning on the island-- both had bracelets (her a hook , he had an infinity) and both had hook rings. They're already talking about 'when we go back'!

I'm counting down until my trip,too--- 31 days--- can't wait! I hope you have a wonderful honeymoon and want to revisit St. Croix soon.

Paula

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I'll go right to E-bay and see what I can find. I'll make sure to fill you in on our trip report sometime in June.
