We are trying to get over our depression from returning to Michigan from St. John. My husband and I were married at the Westin on Memorial Day! We had a great time as always! I will post a full report later. BUT, does anyone know how to make the drink the Drunken Monkey that they serve at the Gecko Gazebo?? I know there is banana, coco lopez, and rum, just not sure if there is anything else! Wanted to double check before I get the ingredients. We are missing St. John terribly! We are debating going back in November...probably shouldn't, but we probably will! Thanks for your help!

Did it have OJ or pineapple in it? I'm betting it had a splash of something a little thinner than banana and coco lopez. Let us know if you can match it up and then give us the recipe...

sounds good.

Hello Meigan & Bluwater,

You could call and ask for the recipe. Gekko Gazebo (340)693-8340 or Bluwater while visiting St. John you could stop in and have one, as well as get the recipe and then post it in your vacation report!! (tu) 😉

Here is another Monkey drink... Funky Monkey.

1 oz Rum (Mt.Gay)
1 oz Creme de Banane
5/8 oz Dark Creme de Cacao
3 oz Coconut milk
1 Banana

Mixing instructions:
Blend with ice until smooth.

Have fun mixing!! 🙂
