My wife and I will be visiting St. Croix mid-April. Any need to worry about renting a vehicle and driving while there? Also....where's the best place to rent a vehicle from?

Thanks......Ray

No need to worry about driving on St. Croix - in fact I would defintely recommend it - it makes seeing the island so much more fun, it is easier and you can sightsee at your pace. Also taking taxis start to add up. There are several rental car companies... Budget is one of them and there are others.

Not a problem and a good idea for a few days! Best rental on island is Goldmine http://www.stcroixgoldmine.com/ I don't think that the "$99 for 3 Days" rate is good during high season, but his rates will still be the lowest available. Call - don't e-mail, and ask for Lucinda. Goldmine has good cars, best price and easy pick-up and delivery, they enjoy a wonderful reputation, even among locals. For the only decent road map of the islands try the Tourism Bureau on Company Street in Christiansted.

E-mail me if you have other questions.
