Does the drinking age in STT follow the same laws as stateside?
It's 18 in STT. Cheers.
Shhhhhh...I'm not so sure I want my 19 and almost 18 year old sons to know about this.*-) We'll be there in August, right after the younger one turns 18. Do we have to tell them? 😉
Trust me Winnie.....they will figure it out 🙂
Gosh darn it!:P
Guess this means they can hang at the Quiet Mon (sigh...).
depends on where you go... the hotels will check age.. everywhere else, they could careless. the one nice thing about stt is how lax they are in general about just about everything.
granted, I'm well past 18, but I never saw anyone ask for an ID.
Hi Pia, how are 'ya- you are so funny, my best to you and Les!
Keep your eye on any "new" drinker in STT. The drinks are potent and combined with sun may have "new" and "old" imbibers "reeling."
Will do, r norman! I'm just not ready for the idea that they'll be able to legally order a drink this time. Should be interesting...and possibly expensive!
Guess they're growing up...:S
Hi Karrieb 🙂
We're great thanks - parents to two new puppies 🙂 How are you, good we hope and when can we expect to see you again:)
We were in STT in April over Spring Break with two 17 year old girls! They ordered drinks everywhere we were and not once got asked for ID. The only time they were asked for ID was when they were buying a bottle of rum and champagne at the Kmart - I gave them mine and they never said a word! It was watching them drink on the trip that made me realize that they were already experienced at it!
