We're heading to St. John this weekend, for the 3rd time -- the snorkeling can't be beat! But I've always been disappointed that I've never seen dolphins while out snorkeling, although my friends did see one at Waterlemon Cay, on the west side of the Cay.

Can anyone recommend a snorkeling spot where dolphins are frequently sighted?

Maho Bay it is! I'm also wondering if there's any really good snorkeling on the far East End?

Try Haulover Bay, the north beach is better but is more difficult to enter and exit the water. John

On STX, pods of dolphins sometimes swim with the Buck Island catamarans.

STT report.
Seen them in the harbor as well as Megan's Bay! I saw them when we had gone out on the boat over by Lavango Island! You never know where you are going to see them! 🙂

We saw two as we were leaving STJ on the DT ferry. It was last July.
