Was just wondering if they do and if so, what time? Wanted to know in case we want to try out night swimming one time to see the water light up with phosphoresence.
Patrick: Would suggest Brewer's, Hull Bay and Secret Harbour around the full moon to see the "glow worms". I do not suggest Magen's at night!
Patrick I have seen the phospheresence at Magens Bay and swam - it was neat... but there was a constant thought... not that anyone was out there in the palm trees... it was a big group of us with lights, music, food... but of what was in the water with me. LOL. I must have watched to many movies.
Hull Bay and Secret Harbor like East Ender suggested, definately good options.
I would not suggest Brewers Bay unless you are with a large group, which I have done before also.

Did not answer the question. No the gate does not close, the toll booth does but not the gate.

Okay, what should I be afraid of? Land sharks or sea sharks? Would like to meet with Ronnie, Islander, Onika, and anybody else who wants to join in. Will be down a week from today. Set a time and a place. We'll power down some cold ones, or whatever the terminology in STT.
I too would like to meet them but will be there from the 6th to the 13th. Anyone?
Cheryl, what there is to be afraid of if swimming at night.... sea sharks... its possiable, sharks attacks are definately not common nor is even seeing one around beaches... however I have heard that in the late evenings they come closer to the shore... so there is some amount of fear factor when jumping into the darkness of the sea at night. And "land sharks"... unfortunately yes... at isolated, non-developed beaches you do risk the unlikely possibility of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Where were you guys when we were discussing the get together that happened not to long ago?? LOL... lets see what the concensus says. Have a great trip guys. Patrick weren't you just there??? or is this a different Patrick?

Didn't get to do much as it was my brother-in-law's wedding and my father-in-law had passed away the month before. So was tied up with other stuff. Also noticed that one of my favorite hunts... sub base dock... was closed.
Maybe this next trip......
