What are the operating hours of the casino...I'm sure their slots are "tight"...ever heard of any big winners?
The Divi casino slots did seem really tight. They have the regular one armed bandits. If your used to the glitz and glamour of Vegas, you'll be disappointed; although, the "noise" is the same. If your a slot poker player, the machines are there. Now I don't play those. Choices from nickle to $5.00 slots but very dull slots. Not like the bonus slot games you may be used to. The dealers are sloppy at the tables. I saw people playing with their arms slung across the tables and drinks up by the play line the night we went. Also saw at the craps table, an overthrow of the dice that the player picked up and the die did not get exchanged out by the pit boss. It continued to be used. Small casino. Don't waste a lot of money unless your feeling particularly lucky. Might get about 30-45 minutes of play for $100 dollars on the quarter slots.
These were just my observations on the Casino. Divi is a beautiful resort area with magnificant views.
Where is this area ? Which Island? Are there more?
Pam, the Divi Casino is located on St. Croix on the South Side (toward east end of island). The Divi is the only casino in the USVI, although, rumor has it that 3 other gaming licenses have been approved and the developers are working on other land permits and requirements. These would also be located on St. Croix. There are also more rumors about an adventure park on St. Croix but nothing in "stone" as of yet that I've heard.
Maybe locals have more info on these projects?
