Hello, everyone! My philosophy is the only dumb question is the one that's not asked. Here's the story. The ONLY truly "touristy" activity that I'm planning is a trip on the Atlantis submarine. I'd planned to leave St.John early the morning of Nov 30, take the morning submarine trip and then have PLENTY of time to get to the airport for my flight back to the mainland. I got an email this morning that the morning dive is not available, so they booked me on the afternoon dive. I understand that a dive trip is a 2 hour event, and it starts at noon, so should be over at 2 pm. My American Airlines flight to Miami leaves at 5:19 pm. I've read the posts that suggest getting to the airport 2 hours before a flight. My question: Is an hour enough time to get from wherever the Atlantis submarine is to the airport? Thanks!

The answer is yes, you should to the airport in plenty of time. I believe the submarine trip leaves from Crown Bay Marina and that is just 5 minutes away from the aiport. have fun...
