If you were to call all of the rental agencies on island, you will find that Discount has the best rates ( I did this a couple years ago and posted them on the board. Dunno if you'd be able to find it with the search function, cuz it was so long ago...). It's next to the airport (they also have a desk at Bluebeard's Castle in the lobby) and the owner is a local Frenchie bahn heah. Nice people. Go with them.

I rented from Discount last year and was very happy with their rates. Somebody picked us up at the airport in the car that we were going to have. We went over to a small building just to sign some papers and we were off.

The only problem we did have was that we wanted a Jeep Wranger, but got a Jeep Liberty instead because the Wrangler we were suppose to have was still being rented by the people before us.

I'm glad we got the Liberty, because it gave us more room and we didn't have to worry about zippering up those windows all the time, dealing with the hot sun when driving and a Liberty is more secure. Easy to break into a Wrangler.
