Hi Ronnie, I recently heard that Dependable Car Rental had changed hands. Has discount also? Dependable has always been great for us and I've only heard very good things about Discount Car Rental. Is there something going on with the off airport rental agencies.

No, both decided to sell around the same time! Actually Dependable was just about getting ready to close up shop and sell off the cars when he got a buyer. Both new owners are well established in the community for many years and should do just as well.

Has anyone rented from Discount Car Rental on St. Thomas?
I just rented from them 6/26 - 7/3

Good Experience?/Bad experience?
People were very good and car got us from point a to b then c very well. But the Vitara was a little older with more miles them most I have heard about from various message boards. 30500 miles (we put on another 250 in one week)

How convenient to airport?
Very convenient - they pick you up & load your luggage right into your rental

Vehicles in good condition?
They ran very well but seen to be a little older than most rentals. Granted they are cheaper than most rentals but we liked what we had. Got us where we wanted to go with no problems.
