Rte. 38 to PP will take you past Cost U Less (more), Price(un)Smart and Tutu Park Mall which has Plaza Extra Grocery store at the end building in their shopping center.
Make sure you get a good map from your rental car agency.

So, Anyone know what is the closest grocery store to Point Pleasant?

I heard there was one just a mile away or so.

Can't remember the name but from PP you go thru Red Hook to the light just past the armory at top of hll, continue past Compass Pt. turn-off, Independant Boat yard on the left and the old Domino Gas Station on the right. It's the next building on the on the right but their prices are pretty high, tho it is a nice store. I don't shop there often but they do have a good selection, just pricy.

There is a small grocery store on the corner of Smith Bay Road (Route 38) and Coki Point Road, but I'd go to Cost-U-Less on your way to the resort.

Another alternative is Plaza Extra at the end of the TuTu shopping plaza. This is also on your way to the resort...just turn left at the TuTu shopping mall traffic light (the intersection after you pass KFC on your right).

There is also a small convenience store in Red Hook at the American Yacht Harbor building....very expensive, though.

Those small convenience store are extremely expensive.
Save your self some money and shop at the regular stores which are expensive enough!
