My wife and I are finally returning to St John after 6 years. coming down for our anniversary with out our kids. Haven't been in years so looking for some places to eat. Very sad that the Lime Inn is closed through October.

Will definitely go back to Asolare and also thinking of ZoZo's . Any other suggestions?

I would also recommend La Plancha del Mar. They are one of the newer places, and their food is fantastic! Right now they are on the second level of the Marketplace. They will be moving to the old Paradiso spot, and hope to be done with the renovations by Mid November. The new spot will be a lot nicer!! But I wouldn't miss them no matter where they are, the food is just that good.

I also love La Tapa. Has been a long time favorite of mine. They are right in town next to Woody's.

You can check out a list of some of the closings on the St. John Spice website. Ruth keeps a running list of the closings and you can check it out here: http://stjohnspice.com/stjohnrestaurants.htm Not sure what part of October you will be coming, but there will still be some places closed then. Happy Anniversary! And hope you all have a fantastic time!

Thanks for all the advice. I saw Ruth's listing on the site.... Both Ruth and Ron are great people.

My wife and I are counting the days ....... feeling a little guilty about leaving the kids home with grandma and grandpa... but only a little - lol

A "little guilt" can be easily wiped away by a Bushwacker or two 😀 Hope you have a fantastic time!
