Hi,
Is there such a thing on St Thomas where you can rental dingy's and do a beach pub crawl? There is one on Virgin Gorda and we had so much fun.
Thanks
I'm not aware of any dinghy rentals on STT (doesn't mean there aren't, just that I don't know of any)...Noah's Little Arks on STJ in Cruz Bay might be an option....or maybe call the marina's on STT and see if they have any available for rent....that's a possibility, as they sometimes need to help moor boats,so they may have some...
North Sound on Virgin Gorda is like a lake. St Thomas has more open water around it, not really conducive to dinghy travel. Besides, you can hit the beach bars by car pretty easily.
I concur! There is apparently a relatively new dinghy rental outfit in Yacht Haven Grande but I doubt they operate after dark and, even in daylight hours, the tides and swells on the South side aren't conducive to dinghy operations. As EE says, there's an abundance of beach/seaside bars easily reached by car, so many from which to pick and choose. Cheers!
Or you can got with one of the powerboat companies and take their smaller boat. If it's only for 2, it should be perfect and always a bit cheaper to be the Skipper o your own vessel.
Thanks for the info.
