I know I have asked several times about dinghy's but I have a couple more questions.

Has anyone rented the 4-person dinghys from Calypso. They have steering wheels and I'm thinking this looks pretty easy. Also, if you take them out to snorkel, how easy/hard is it to get back into them. And last but not least, do they have coolers?

Thanks everyone for always being so helpful!

Denise

A good way to get back into a small boat is to step on the stabilizing fins coming off the engine - of course, do not do this when it is running.

We rented the same dinghy you are talking about last year. It was great. They have coolers onboard and plenty of room. We were told it was easier to steer this dinghy because of the mounted steering wheel. We did not have anya problems getting back into the dinghy -- that is if you do not mind something pushing on your backside to get you back in the boat! We had a great day. The waters were rough as we started in Cruz Bay and went around to Waterlemon! This was rough, but worth it. Just know that you are going to get wet! Feel free to ask anything -- we are going back this July and will probably do this again.

Thanks CJ.
Can you take the dinghys up to the beaches and which ones did you visit? Also, are 4 people (adults) going to fit comfortably with all of our snorkel gear and beach stuff?

Have a great time on your next visit!

Thanks!
