We plan to spend a day on JVD. I'm trying to figure out the best option for getting over there. Can anyone offer a suggestion?

Also, I'd be interested in renting just a small boat such as an inflatable dinghy or something just to poke around the shoreline. Does anyone have a suggestion for that ? I've not found much online.

Thanks to anyone who can help.

Well you really only have 2 major options, Ferry or rent a boat and cruise yourself over there. Option 2 might be your best bet since you want to explore the shoreline.

Enjoy.

I think I can help you with a few links. I have no experience with them because our trip to JVD got canceled.

We had planned on getting to JVD from St. John on the boat Lion in da Sun. The trip was canceled because not enough people had signed up and we couldn't afford the private charter for just the two of us.

The ferry boat is an option to get there but it really limits your time on the island.
