I'm trying to contact StormKing, Vitraco Park Mall, St. Thomas. The phone (340) 775-1266 has a generic answer machine message and their website doesn't seem to be working either. Does anyone know if they are still there?

I'm not down that way but there's no listing for them in the 2013 'phone book.

There are a couple of other shutter contractors on island, if need be.

Thanks. I guess. I was trying to get an estimate on an awning that my friends purchased 6 years ago. I might try calling elsewhere, but my friends are so happy with the one they have, I'd like to see if I can find the same brand. I appreciate your reply.

Thanks. I'll find out what the brand name is and will try other awning places. (Do you have store names?) I really like the idea of this retractable awning being 'hurricane resistant' when it is cranked in. Thanks for your reply!

There's Marine Tech in Buccaneer Mall - [email protected] who advertise fixed and retractable awnings. I don't have any experience with them and know nothing about them but if you get an estimate from them I'd also check online as there are hundreds of reputable supply companies who'll ship here and you can hire someone locally to do the installation.

I looked into retractable awnings from Sunsetter. They advertise on TV but they do not ship here, as is usual! Let us know what you find. If you need info on shuters, I can pm you a couple of contractors that do sales/installation.

Thanks; I was wondering if Sunsetter shipped to the VI. Can I say I'm not surprised that they don't? I'm only interested in awnings, not shutters, thanks. If I find something, I'll post what it is.

You can have them ship to address in states and then have whomever ship here.
Good luck.
