is shopping for a diamond ring a good value on this island,as compared to st.martin or the states?if so where would be the best 2 or 3 reputable store be. thanks tom

It is a good deal as there is no tax and the prices are pretty good. You would do even better if you know what to look for in the stone. Don't forget though that you will be going through customs on the way back to the Us and will have to declare stuff. A lot of reputable stores. Good luck!
