What it is like to rent from Dependable? -- have always use Budget and looking for a change -- Does Dependable allow their vehicles to go to St. John?

I used Dependable for a week in April. The car was very clean and ran well. Their rates were a few dollars cheaper than Budget and I liked the idea of supporting a local business vs. nation wide company. Having done both in the past I found the *Dependable" folks took more pride in the cars they were renting as they actually had a personal investment in each vehicle. They will pick you up at the airport and drive you to their office where you sign papers. To return the car you simply leave the key and the airport parking ticket on the visor if your departure time is before their office hours. It's easy and worked well for us.
In June we rented from Dependable for the same reasons as above... we wanted to rent from a local company and our SUV was a little less $$ than what I was finding for SUVs on the internet (hotwire, etc.). Plus I had read good reviews on Dependable. We were glad we used them.

Agree they're a good company. Yes, they allow St. John... same stipulations, you're on your own with emergencies.
We rented a 4-door jeep from them in May. Good people, good service!
