Does anyone have a recommendation for a deep sea fishing company on St. Croix?

There is only three or four of us going and so a smaller boat would be ok.

We are looking to do a half day trip the week of Thanksgiving.

Thanks!

Doug

Thanks Joan!

This is exactly what I am looking for.

Would anyone else be interested in going the week of Thanksgiving?

We currently have a group of three, but it would be great to add a few more anglers to make the trip less expensive.

Thanks!

Doug

My husband and his brothers had a bad experience with Carl. Didn't use live bait. Caught no fish. We used to watch his boat come in each day and have huge fish that they would take over to rumrunners each afternoon to sell. My husband and his brothers took a large cooler to bring their fish home as we live here. Don't know if that was the problem or not. They also are not drinkers and are serious fisherman so the boat made no money there either. Back in the states were we are from, a discount or a free next trip would have been offered. Maybe it is just different here. We will try a different boat next time. He seems like a nice guy but for the money that we spent not the boat for us.

Thanks Tammy . . .

Has anyone else used any of the other deep sea fishing charter companies on St. Croix?

Thanks,
Doug

I have used, and highly recommend, Capt. Aaron of Grand Slam Fishing Charters. His url is: http://www.gofishstcroix.com/index.htm

He is knowledgeable, hard working and has a good attitude. We enjoyed his company as well as his fishing skills. We will definitely use him again on our next trip to STX.

Great!

And it looks like Captain Aaron is a bit cheaper than Captain Carl as well . . .
