I'm going to Tortola for spring break and was wondering about some hot spots for trolling might be. Went last summer and had some luck with a few small blackfin tuna. I'll be on our sailboat and we'll probably cruise around Virgin Gorda and Anegada. I figured the fishing grounds were the same for both the BVI's and USVI's.

If anyone has any suggestions for catching wahoo, tuna, or dolphin and where to find them, I'd be happy for them to post back.

You might want to look into your info more closely as the fishing regulations between the BVI and USVI are totally different.

Best of luck!

Very definately check the regulations as several boat Captains from St.Thomas have been severely penalized for shipping in BVI waters. One lost their boat! The other got off with a hefty fine!!!
