Hi Everyone!
12 days until we are in paradise! Just wondering if STJ participates in daylight savings time...

Thanks for your reply. Excuse me for asking a dumb question, but we have a flight that leaves out of Charlotte non stop at 9:30 arriving in STT @1:16. Our confirmation says flight time is 3 hr 46 min which would be correct if STT participated in DST. So, what time will it be in STT when we get there: 1:16 or 12:16?

9 days and counting!!!!

You have to remember that stt is an hour ahead of you during the summer and 2 hours ahead during the winter

When Charlotte is on Daylight Savings Time the time in STT and Charlotte are the same. When Charlotte is on Standard Time STT is one hour ahead. Airlines always print the arrival time as the time it will be in you destination when you arrive...No worries all is correct. Have a great trip!

anyway, i thought the "local" time of arrival is usually given on ticket confirmations from the carriers. i am probably wrong.

barring that, i use the length of the flight, 3 hours, 46 mins:

9:30 + 3 hours = 12:30 + 46 minutes = 1:16pm

keep in mind that when you leave nc, it is 10:30am our time. applying the same figures, you'd arrive here at 2:16pm local time.

smak me if i've erred, peeps!
