Ive been checking web sites for the most direct , reasonably affordable means of travel directly from St Croix to Tortola for a day trip. Taking the ferry first to St Thomas then to Tortola is very time consuming and $100 RT. Seaborne airlines (seaplanes) doesnt appear to fly from st croix. Any other suggestions?
Seaborne does fly from St. Croix, where did you get the impression that they didn't? Take the seaplane from St. Croix to St. Thomas and then take the ferry to Tortola. Going to Tortola via St. Thomas is pretty much your only option, or you could fly American Eagle or Cape Air via San Juan, but that is also time consuming. There are no direct flights between St. Croix and Tortola.
Perhaps since it requires a bit of time and money plan on spending the night in Tortola??? Then it would be more worth it?
