I will be vacationing in St Thomas in June. This will be my 3rd trip in about 8 years. Wish I could come more often since it is my favorite place. Hoping to change all that in a couple of years when retiring. Anyway, I've been to St John both times on day trips and was wondering if anyone could suggest new things to do? I've been snorkeling on trunk bay and did an island tour. Didn't get to Coral Bay. Any suggestions?
Check out Cinnamon and Francis Bays. Caneel Bay is beautiful and has a nice ruin and lovely grounds. Head out to Annaberg Ruins for breathtaking views, snorkel at Lienster Bay below, head to east end of island for conch fritters and a cold drink at Shipwreck Landing and if you have a 4WD go to Lameshure (watch for deer on the road to the beach) and snorkel there.
There really are endless amounts of things to do. Check with the National Park visitors center or their website to see if the have any special trips or activities on the days you will be visiting.
They have maps for hiking trails to do on your own or in a group. Have Lunch at Lime Inn and a wonderful Hot Fudge Sunday for desert (many other goodies for desert there as well) and just enjoy the day. Take your car on the barge (unless rented from Hertz or another that does not allow) and go where you please, when you please. Have fun!
Thanks for all the info!
