Hi all!
Well I just returned from St Thomas and I am still floating in la la land, remembering my daughter's wonderful wedding day! It was amazing! Everything was outstanding! And the weather???? It was unbelievable beautiful! Tina had everything ready when we arrived, The photographer, the videographer, the steel pan drum player and the minister was the best! We couldn't have asked for anything more! Sherri even stopped by the wedding, just to introduce herself and say hi! How nice was that??? The car rental company that we used was referred to me by Sherri - Amaile Car rental - they were a little bit more, but worth every penny! They were waiting for us at the airport even before we got our luggage! They were holding a sign that read, "The future Mr. and Mrs. Hawks" That was such a special touch! I can't wait to post a picture to share with everyone.
I feel like I can't stop talking about the day, so stay tuned, I will have more later.

So happy to hear you had a wonderful trip and that your daughter's wedding was amazing! That is so cool! When you relax and just go with the flow, things always turn out, so I'm glad that's what happened! Can't wait to see pictures and hear all about your trip! I'm jealous! haha 😀 We miss it! I just want to say how everyone on this forum seems so sincere and kind about everyone's happiness and satisfaction from what they experience and take home with them in their hearts from the VI's. Especially the ones that are personally part of what makes each of us vacationers feel special while on your beautiful island.

Yes, Tiger1 I totally agree! I stumbled across this website and I have enjoyed every minute of it! I have talked with so many people who have willingly helped me from the beginning and now I am helping other brides to be, who have questions, that now I can help answer! It really restores my faith in people! I feel blessed to have found this site and I truly feel I will be around for awhile. And who knows, maybe I will visit STT again some day!
My daugther's reception is this Saturday, Hopefully after that I can get come pictures posted on here. They are amazing- and I am only talking about the ones taken with our digital camera! I can't wait to see the professional ones that were taken!!

i am glad that you mentioned amalie car rental in the way that you did. sometimes the cheapest is not always the best (or even as good in the first place) so i am glad you decided to splurge on the recommendation of sherri, your new island friend.
i am not trying to say that other car rental companies are of no use, but i am trying to say that using cost as the main basis for a decision when everything has to be just right, is not advisable, especially in a place with limited resources in the first place.
i am glad that everything turned out to be so very dreamy!~
