Yipee!!!Tomorrow is the big day. Can't wait til I get my first painkiller. Just wondering what king of weather I can expect on my first day on beautiful STJ?

There's a weather link at the top right with a 5 day forecast. As long as systems keep moving along, count on partly cloudy to sunny skies, and thunderstorms that don't last long.

I am hearing that there's more wetness than usual, resulting in overcast skies, but it's impossible to predict the weather. All you can do is assume what it's going to do based upon what it has just done.

I hope I did not alarm you! After your stay, check in and let us know what kind of weather you had. Most who do, say it was not as bad as the predictions! And those who got rain, ended up having a great time anyway because it did not rain all of the time.

Thanks A.

I will be there for 12 days, so I'm sure I'll see enough sun.

After 12 days of painkillers, you won't care! I'm envious.

Hi Deb,

Won't be over to STJ until Saturday but I am actually sitting in my Ritz Carlton room on St Thomas as I write this and let me tell you the weather is wonderful. Despite what everyone kept saying about ignoring the weather forecasts, when I looked at them I was terrified the weather was going to be ugly, Being from California we get sun almost everyday so I was going to be sad if we came all the way to the VIs and it rained all day.

There was about 10 minutes of rain this afternoon but the rest of the day and all day yesterday (when we arrived) was gorgeous!

No Worries!

SoCalGal,

You have made my day! I don't mind the occasional showers that blow thru, but I really would hate a week and a half of cloudy.rainy, days. I know it's been hot, but I'm sitting here in Houston and its 6:30 in the evening and it's still 93 degrees and 90% humidity.

Be joining you soon in the beautiful VI's. Thanks for taking time on your vacation to relieve my worries.
