Here in Oregon, our gasoline prices are hitting over $2 a gallon. We'll be on St. John for 2 weeks in August and are curious what current prices are on the island. Thanks in advance and we can't wait for August to arrive.
I don't know the anser. But, you shouldn't have to spend much on gasoline. But, if you are fueling a boat, that's another issue entirely...ouch!
Last time around the prices for gas on STJ were about $2.20 a gallon. A gallon goes a long way down there. Prices on STT are cheaper and STX prices are the cheapest.
The Daily News ran an article on gas prices just yesterday. There was a territory-wide freeze on prices but apparently they have made some exceptions. Recent averages for regular unleaded:
STX: $1.58
STT: $2.16
STJ: $2.26
