I am curious to know the location of one of the pictures that scrolls at the top of this website. It is the one that has a body of water separated by a thin stretch of sand going through it with some islands in the back ground. Does anyone know where this is?

looks like the mermaid's chair/little st. thomas to me.

Melissa, there are two photos with a little strip of sand and water on either side. The one of Mermaid's Chair has water on the right and left of the sand and rocks in front, islands in background. Mermaid's Chair is the western tip of St. Thomas.

The 2nd photo has water in the front and back and an island in the left corner in the background. That photo is Limestone Beach on Water Island.
