OK, tickets in hand, villa's rented, pumped for the trip as usual so imagine my dismay to realize that I scheduled our trip in conflict with the biggest sporting event occurring every 4 years. We live in Texas so futbol always looses out to football, baseball and anything else except for certain venues. Hopefully the VI is not as single minded and we can get to see a key match or two while on island.
Fortunately the US vs England match is before we leave and we certainly do not intend to schedule our vacation around the World Cup but are there any suggestions for possibly seeing select matches while on STJ? My first thought was Skinny's but they are such passionate Red Sox fans I can see there being a possible conflict. Maybe we can bribe some time with 'rounds on me' but that could be very expensive and make the drive back along Centerline more than exciting.
On St. John the Quiet Mon usually has the soccer games on for the World Cup. In fact some of the games get a pretty big audience watching and it is a lot of fun. Also, I would imagine the Caribbean Saloon over in Red Hook on STT will have the games on, they have a ton of tv's and get cable/sat/ and some other link so they always have games everyone else doesn't.

Thanks for the information. Already feeling better. Completely forgot about the Quiet Mon and looking for other places on STT so Caribbean Saloon is now also on the list.
