For my wedding in July on STJ, I am doing gift bags for my guests. To avoid the cost of shipping, I am bringing most of the goodies with me and assembling on the island, as we will be arriving a few days early. I'd like to include some of the mini "airplane" bottles of Cruzan (our favorite!!) in the bags. I know they sell the big bottles everywhere, but does anyone know if they sell these small bottles, and where? Also, any idea on price? Just trying to get an idea of how much it would be to purchase 30-40 of them. Thanks so much!
You can purchase small, airplane-sized bottles at most liquor stores. Try Havensight Mall stores. They are very inexpensive. Can't remember what I paid last year, but I brought home some for co-workers. Maybe $1.00 or so??
We, too, are getting married in July on STT. We went down to the Dept. of Tourism and they gave us the name of a distributor (unfortunately, I can't remember the name at this time - PM/e-mail me and I'll see if I can't dig it up) who can provide bulk "minis", as well as bulk pints (or, for that matter, bulk quantities of just about any size you want) at a slight discount.
PM/e-mail and I'll see if I can dig the name up - or just call/e-mail Tourism and they can get you the info. They are real nice and very easy to deal with - plus, they like weddings as they typically bring GUESTS with them!

If you go to cruzanrum.com you can get recipes & maybe include that. If you buy them the four following flavors Pinnapple, orange &banana & coconut rums & they mix them all & serve on the rocks, they will have a drink that tastes just like juicy fruit gum!
