We are planning on going to Magens, Sapphire, Coki/Coral World, and St Johns and a pool/downtown shopping day.

the days we are there we need to avoid Tues and Wed bc of the cruise calendar.

what should we do on those days?

Maybe St Johns (which beach??) and another beach?

No "s" on St John! On heavy cruise ship days the beaches most affected are Magens, Coki and Sapphire in that order, along with Trunk and Cinnamon on St John. You can still enjoy those beaches if you get there before the cruise ship crowds arrive and after they leave (they're there generally 11-3PM). There are other lovely beaches on STT relatively untouched by cruise ship visitors (Smith Bay Park and Secret Harbour come first to mind) while on STJ there are loads more choices as long as you have your own cooler and chairs. Don't over-plan - there's plenty to do and see!

Will you have a car on STJ? If yes, hit a bunch of beaches. Cinnamon is very nice. Maho and Francis too. See my other post about going the beach with a baby. Lindburg is nice choice. Try Secret Harbor as well--very calm for little ones. Coral world is fun for pre-schoolers (for about 1.5 hrs). Coki has more of a party (i.e. drinking and smoking) vibe, not the best baby beach.

Cinnimon over Trunk. Try both, they are pretty close. Will you have a foldong unbralls stroller? You may want to bring it to STJ on the ferry. Nice to have for napping baby, and shoppping in cruz bay.
