I was wondering if Islander could update the cruise ship schedules on this website. It only goes up to Dec '06. Shouldn't the cruise lines have their schedules made for the next 6-8 months, at least? I'm just getting anxious to plan what day we're doing what, and I wanted to plan which day we''re going to Jost, STJ etc. I hear its good to pick days that alot of ships are in port.

thanks!

I wouldn't stress on cruise schedules unless it's when you want to be in town shopping. There it can get very tight. But they don't bother people. Sometimes I think too much is made of the folks that come of the cruise ships.

They certainly won't be going to Jost and the most often visited beach on STJ is Trunk. There is more than enough space on the beach for everyone.

Good point about people making too much of the cruise ship people. I just remember someone saying that its best to pick a day to get off the island when there are alot of ships there.

While all cruise vessels have a fairly good idea of where they will be over the next 6 months, it is best to wait until they have posted firm and official schedules for day(s) in port. Usually, an official schedule is posted 1 month out.
