HI there...
I have been looking at some of the question on this board and thought someone might be able to help me plan our day in St.Thomas. I have a large family going along on the cruise with us the first week of December. My husband likes to snorkel and I love the beach. We have childern from ages 5-12... where would be the best place we should go? I heard Megans Bay is Beatiful but might not be the best place to go for snorkeling.
I would be greatful if anyone can give any advice that could help me out. I want this to be the best trip we have ever taken.

All my thanks

Hello Susie,

What you researched is right about Magens Bay; its a beautiful beach, very sandy bottom so not much snorkeling except just a little along the rocks.

You could go to a nice beach with good snorkeling to balance out the wants. Perhaps Sapphire Beach or Secret Harbor or Coki Beach.

Coki will be very busy during the December month. Its a popular choice for Cruise Ship tours/passengers. Coral World is at Coki Point, next to Coki Beach - your children might enjoy that.
