Wondering what the cost is to purchase a bottle of absolute vodka and captain morgan rum on STT?

Absolut around $10/liter. Haven't recently priced Captain Morgan but it's around the same. The Cruzan distillery has recently introduced Cruzan 9, a spiced rum which replaced their former Cruzan Clipper and is excellent at $9/liter. Overall best prices and selection on wines and liquors on STT are CostULess and Plaza Extra. Cheers!

Are A.H.Riise prices higher than Plaza Extra and CUL? One time I was looking for a particular vodka from France at AHR. They didn't carry it because they couldn't sell it at a discount. I was told that's AHR's rule. Sell only at a discount. Their selection is undoubtedly second to none in the USVI. Please tell me if I'm wrong.

I've generally found that AHR's prices are quite higher. They may not have carried that particular brand of vodka because there wasn't sufficient demand for it and thus buying in bulk at a better price and thus the ability to offer a discount wouldn't be a sensible option. Still enjoying all that snow, Bassman? 😀

If you want more exotic brands you will probably need to go AHR or some place like that. While Cost you Less, Plaza Extra, Pricemart carry a lot and they are at a better price you may not find what you want.

Most of the snow has washed away from all the rain we've had in the last week. I still have a 3 foot pile in the circle in my driveway.
I wish it was clean so I could make frozen drinks with it.

Food Center would be closest but Plaza Extra's prices are better. The smaller Marina Market in Red Hook is also an option but their prices are way high.

CostULess would be the closest, a 10 minute drive if you avoid the disembarkation of visitors on a heavy cruise ship day, or an $8 pp taxi ride. If you're planning on shopping en route to STJ you can easily stop there.

OK my .02 Cents as a former tourist and now resident. If I were landing at the airport on vacation I would and routinely did simply go in the Liquor store in the airport and buy it while you wait on your bags. The store is conveniently located next to the bar in the baggage claim area. While your at it get a bushwhacker at the bar and slow down. 🙂 You will pay a dollar or two more than Cost U Less, but you will have it with you and it will still be half what you are used to paying in the states. You also won't be paying for a cab and wasting vacation time at a wanna be Sam's Club.
