*Has anybody done the Coral World and Treking offered there? How was it? Is Coki beach also worth it? I want to take my 83 year old father to do the Trek if its worth it... What place would you recommend to eat in that area? Thanks Nilda
Hello Nilda,
I have visited Coral World many times and have done the Sea Trekkin. Coral World is a nice place to visit. You can eat at Coral World or at the beach eateries at Coki but if you are looking for a sit down restaurant, menu, wait staff, bar environement... you might take a taxi to Red Hook and try one of the restaurants there. Sea Trekkin is interesting. They give you a little lecture to start out and then you get ready, climb down a ladder into the water. You have to go under the water just a little and they lower the air-bubble/head piece onto your shoulders. The head piece is heavy and basically assist in pushing you and keeping you on the bottom where you then walk along a underwater path following a guide who picks things up and points things out. If you are an avid snorkeler or diver what you see will not be very impressive but for a novice it will be. Coki Beach is right, immediately next door to Coral World and there is no charge to go there so its definately worth just looking at it at the very least if you are already in the area - its a pretty little bay and its worth visiting to swim and snorkel at - very good snorkeling.
There is a $3 coupon off adult admission at

Have a great time.

There is a guy who sells food on Coki that is wonderful. He is at the far end of the beach and grills fish, chicken and more. You get a LOT of food for $8.
