Is Coral World geared more for children or is it a place that adults would enjoy also? Would a snorkel at Coki beach or other beaches be about the same. My wife and I are going on our honeymoon the first of April and are trying to figure things we want to do while we are there.

We love all kinds of aquariums and have Coral World on our agenda. We do not have children, and make a point on any vacation that offers an aquarium to check it out.

We have pre-booked the Sea Trek at Coral World and plan on snorkling at Coki Beach afterwards.

Does anyone know what time Coki Beach closes?

The beaches never close. Rental places do, though. Around 5ish.

If you have not been exposed to that subject (aquarium) before, you will find it very interesting. However, if you have been to several in the past, it very much depends upon the individual as some are beeter than others (Coral is still good).
Coki is a really nice snorkeling beach on STT, but if you will be there (STT) for awhile make sure you travel to STJ and experience the snorkeling/beaches there. You will kick yourselve if you don't. Hawksnest, Trunk, Cinammon & Francis Bays as well as Waterlemon Cay are all worth the trip.

To Ryan and KVR: I am an aquarium person too, and I love Coral World. It is small, but well-thought out. They do a good job of getting you to look at the various tropical ecosystems- reef, rubble zone, piers, mangroves, sandy bottom, rocky areas, etc. Then when you go snorkeling or diving you will know what to look for. My favorite is the Reef Encounter- you stand in the middle of this huge room with fishies and wild life swimming circles around you. There is a shark petting station, an underwater observatory, seahorses, turtles and even a bar, in case you get thirsty! 😉

The gist: Kids like it, adults like it.
