<48 hours to wheels-up and I've been reminiscing about previous trips. I just remembered "the woman in white" we used to see walking all over the Coral Bay area. Always shoe-less, often carrying a bag of some sort, apparently just wandering. Have seen her as far south as Johnson Bay Estates and east as Zootenval.

Someone once told us that she's a wealthy old woman with family in the area, but that she has some mental issues (alzheimers or dementia). Rather than stay in her house (near or on the Boom if I recall the story), or the houses of her family members, she just wanders around all day, generally doesn't bother anybody.

Does anyone have any more information on her (or more accurate information)? What has become of her?

Thanks for any info!

Jennifer

I believe that is Miss January. Very pleasant to say hi to.

We were there last week and saw her near Johnson Bay Estates just before Miss Lucy's. Whats the deal with the "Pirate" we see every year walking around barefooted? Someone started telling us the story but we got interupted. All we got is that he used to be a professional deep sea diver and blew out his ear drums.

Does this woman have long straight hair (kinda straggily looking), about 5'4? I think I met the same woman last year. Very smart and intelligent when you talk with her, but at the same time something going on with her as well. Hope shes doing well!
