Down to (3) options for our family of six (wife, daughters 19,17,14,7, and myself) for our St. Thomas vacation July 2010.
1. Rent (2) connecting 1-bedroom condos on Sapphire Beach. Comes with free car rental. Looks like GREAT beach but very little else happening. Think kids might get a little bored. No beach bar for dad.
2. 4-Bedroom condo @ cowpet beach. Nice place and location but not crazy about the actual beach. Looks like it is "roped" off and lots of boats limit swimming area.
3. Bolongo Bay Condos: Love the fact that the resort and restaurant is there but it is very rocky in front of the condos. The beach looks OK but not great.
I would appreciate any info. I am sure any of the locations would work but just want to make sure I make a good decision for the family vacation.

We need a place for 5, two couples and the groom to be that will be there prior to wedding. I agree, Sail Away looks fabulous, I have connected with the owner and have very gently urged the future in-laws to strongly consider it but, not sure about the maximum they'll spend as they won't share this with me........
They've never been to the islands so they'll learn on their own I guess.
