Hi- My husband, kids, and I are staying in the ecotents for 10 days at the end of Jan/ beg. of Feb. I have read several comments about construction of new tents, a pavillion, cafe, yoga center, etc. at Estate Concordia. Should I be worried that we will be staying in the middle of a construction mess??? Would I be better off making reservations somewhere else? They didn't mention anything about construction when I made the reservation. We stayed at Cinnamon nine years ago (no kids yet) and enjoyed our stay, but from all of my research I think that Concordia will be a really special experience - I just don't want to be disappointed by a bunch of noisy construction. Any thoughts? Anyone stayed there recently during the construction? What's it like? Any info is appreciated... Thanks!

We stayed in the studios at Concordia in July. The pavillion construction was well underway during our stay. We didn't notice much noise or construction-related activity at that time; the biggest issue was the fact that the pool was closed because the filter got clogged with dust that had kicked up earlier that week (we didn't notice any dust while we were there). Given our experience I wouldn't hesitate to stay there, but that was three months ago. Maybe someone can give more insight into what has been happening more recently.

Thanks for the reply. Has anyone been there more recently? Is the pool still closed? That would be a minor bummer, but I am more concerned about noise, dust, odors, etc...
