Whee!! I can't wait. I booked a trip the last week of August (sans kids!) for a little R&R before fall semester starts. It's been a while (like 3 years) since I have been back, and most of my friends are like me and don't get out much anymore (kids....too much trouble when wanting to find a babysitter). Any new places open up that are worth checking out while there? Or just stick with the old favorites? (Friends and I used to go to Sib's pretty regularly, as well as Betsy's Bar, Epernay/Alexander's, Bryan's, Duffy's, and Finn McCool's when that was still there)

I can't wait to get out of the rat race!

Hello ExResident,

Many of your old favs are still options; Sibs, Betsy's Bay, Epernay, Bryans, Duffys!! You might check out the happy hour at Greenhouse and/or happy hour at Paradise Point. Tickles at Crown Bay Marina has live music on different nights of the week, so does Pirates Cove Marina.

Have a great time.

Frank has opened Molly Molone's in Red Hook- Finn McCool's is no longer.

The paper said Bryan's is closed? Someone bought it and wants to turn it into office space (EDC)

Alexander's is now Bella Blu- great place! Alex still owns it.

Since Alexander has conceded the Bella Blu them is not that popular, he is fusing with himself and callig it Alexander's Bella Blu, so his moniker is still there with just a little confusion! Menu is almost all back to normal!
