I have looked at all the weather related info that I can find on Sept weather patterns, and I know that sept is prime hurricane season. I was wondering if it is worth taking a chance on having good weather, and avoiding any storms, or if we should not.
For those of you that are "local" what is the weather in Sept really like? We are celebrating our anniversary and only have 5 days to spend. Sept 15-19.
Thanks for any advise/info!

Come. The weather in September is like the rest of the year, but a little warmer (our temps only fluctuate about 5 or 6 degrees from the hottest part of summer to the coldest part of winter). Keep your eye on the Weather Channel's "Tropical Update" at :50 after the hour, or on www.weather.com, for info on possible storms. Also, get trip insurance, just in case one is bearing down on us. Enjoy your aniversary!

Come. As Marty says, purchase trip insurance. Keep your eye on the weather forecast. You will have plenty of notice to cancel should it become necessary. September here is pretty much like the rest of the year ... a little warmer, a little less breeze but the water still beautiful! Hope you'll come down and enjoy yourself.
