Columbian Emeralds International will be returning to the U.S. Virgin Islands very soon, with their first store nearing completion. The store is located at the ferry dock in Cruz Bay....and I mean RIGHT AT THE DOCK! I think you can actually step from the dock, into the store, without your foot actually touching down on the island of STJ! Haha! The store is due to open on the fourteenth of this month. It'll probably take another year or so, but Columbian Emeralds will be returning to STT, too.

Why did they leave in the first place, I loved shopping there
There were some issues with franchising that didn't iron out the way they should have, so they just separated from Columbian Emeralds and became Jewels and Azura by Jewels (as I understand it). And CSI (which owns Columbian Emeralds International) is such a large company (also has Tourneau stores and Jewelry Warehouse stores), and they are continuously expanding, that it has taken this long for them to get back to the USVI. The STJ store is their 52nd Columbian Emeralds store!
