Hi,

Me again....I was just reading a review of Coki Beach and it said to go there during daylight hours only. That after dark it would not be safe. Are there any other spots that would be considered dangerous in the evening? Since, I'm traveling with teenagers I know they will want to seek out whatever nightlife St. Thomas has to offer. It's important to us to keep them safe. Please advise.

Thankyou

We've found stt to be one of the most friendly islands in the caribbean. With that said we still watch where we travel after dark. If you are staying at one of the hotels I would recommend staying close.
If you do go out, i would advise a more popular location. We found bolongo beach club or sapphire were good or Red hook has a couple great spots.
Just like back home there are areas we wouldn't go into a night.
This march will be our 8Th straight year of enjoying this beautiful island.

Coki beach is a daytime place.

Sapphire, if you're there on Sunday, let them hang out there, play volleyball, snorkel and go to the beach party. Alot of fun.

Red Hook at night is safe, but there's only a few stores for shopping. They would like Duffy's, but if they're underage, I wouldn't go there with them. Plenty of drinking there.

Sapphire Beach is a good spot and red hook is close. Go to Paradise Point. It has a tram to the top and they have some enterainment.
