Hi,
I'd welcome any comments about Coconut Coast Villas. I understand there is a desalination plant nearby...any disturbances? How long is the walk to town?
Thanks for any info negative or positive.
Pat

We've had a number of friends stay there who repeated. They love the convenience of being able to walk to Cruz Bay while being outside of the hustle and on a beach. They have never complained of noise. Two independant couples just spent a couple of weeks there and have planned another stay. I would give Coconut Coast a call and see what they say.

Cheers, RickG

It is a short walk but there could be some serious hills. We've had guests and family stay there and they've always loved it. Never any mention of the desal plant or any other noise disturbances... well... there are some loud peacocks during their mating time... but that's about it.

We stayed at Coconut Coast a few years back. It is a nice walk to town if you are in decent physical shape. You do have to climb heart-attack hill. It is convenient to town and pretty quiet. There is a wildlife pond right across from the villa. And the peacocks hang out on the entry way to the villa...they are pretty harmless.

The only disappoinment was the window screens on our unit were bent out of shape, therefore letting in the noseeums. So we had to keep the a/c on all the time.

Actually there are two ways to walk in and out of town and it does NOT include walking up heart attack hill. Both ways are fairly flat. The only possible hill is the one by Gallows Point on your walk back to the villas, but it is very gradual, only a slight incline and it is right on the water. The incline is so gradual that you don't even really notice it.
