My husband and I are also hooked on STJ. We are returning again next month and staying at Coconut Coast. Any comments on this? Is it really close enough to walk to the ferry and the Market?

I've stayed at CC 3x in past 4 years and love it. It is not the shortest walk to to town but easily "doable". I'm 40, smoke and consider reading while lifting a beverage to be excercise. The walk makes me feel virtueous - especially after a fabulous dinner in Cruz Bay!

the walk is by road....also once you're in town and ready to return after dinner/drinks etc. very simple to grab a taxi!!
