I'm thinking of renting this villa through caribbean villas. Can anyone comment if it's a good one? Also, how is renting through caribbean villas? They don't seem the most friendly and helpful on the phone, but have a nice webiste.
Thanks

Hi Anne,

I don't know anything about the villa you're renting, but we've rented before through Caribbean Way (www.caribbeanway.com), and they were fantastic - we stayed in Virgin Gorda and our villa was spectacular, the people at Caribbean Way were amazing and we didn't have anything to complain about.

Best of luck with the rental search!

Sarah

We are leaving to go to STJ in August and I have never been there before but we rented our villa through this website http://destinationstjohn.com/homes.htm - they seem real nice so hopefully everything turns out

We rented Second Wind from Caribbean Villa earlier this month. Everything was great and the staff was very helpful for us (both in Maine and STJ). We thought of renting Cocolobo but it was booked for our time. I believe it also overlooks Reef Bay but is higher on the hillside relative to Second Wind. This is good for breezes and you should see wonderful sunrises. The only negative would be walking distance to Reef Bay beach but since that is really not a bathing or snorkeling beach and you will have a car anyway I can't see that as a big problem.
The views will knock you out and the privacy is really what we enjoyed. That side of the island is close enough to Cruz for restaurants, groceries, etc. yet far enough away for privacy. It overlooks the Park and that is a real treat.

Enjoy...we did.
