I don't see anything about the Cinnamon Bay Campground on the message board. Any comments on it? We were thinking of staying in the cottages. Thanks.

Try again under campground, there are many postings comparing it to Maho Bay and to renting elswhere in general- definately is stuff here on that campground!

Hey Sandy....I just booked 4 nights in cottage 8 for December!! Can't wait! If you are thinking about it...the cottages get booked up fast! I was real surprised to get one of them. She told me that the last night we may have to move to a different one...but I don't care...at least I got cottage 8 for 3 of the 4 nights!

We visited them last time we were there 3yrs. ago & planned to camp out there if we ever returned. Our daughter is coming the last couple nights we are there to have her senior graduation pictures taken on the beach!

From what I remember, it's very peaceful there & beautiful beach!! I've heard that the showers are not hot...but comfortably cool. They do have a web site, so pretty much everything you'll need to know can be answered there....except for other travelers opinions.

Sitter - thanks for the information. I called last week and had no problem getting a cottage rental for the dates we wanted in December. If we see someone getting pictures taken, we will come say hi. Looking forward to this new adventure.

Sitter, we'll be at Cinnamon Bay part of the first week in December and then a couple of other places. How about you? This forum has been very helpful, just knowing there are others out there that have questions, too.

Yep Sandy...we will be there from Tuesday nite (Dec. 5th for the full moon!!) till we leave on Sat.
That will be a sad sad day!! We always say...we shoulda stayed longer....on every vacation!
Did they tell you which cabin you would be in?
And where are you coming from?
Our daughter is soo excited to have her pictures taken there! Now if I can keep her outta the sun before she gets her pictures taken! She usually doesn't burn... but STT sun is hotter! She works at a tanning salon, so she will have a good base, but I knowoher.....she will want MORE color before her pictures!

Sitter, the 5th will be our last day at Cinnamon Bay, so maybe we will see you. We made a request for an cabin in a certain area, but they wouldn't guarantee it. I think anywhere will be great. How many times have you been to St. John? This will be a first for us. We are coming from Iowa, how about you? Did you plan you vacation around your daughter's pictures, or the pictures because of the vacation? Are you registered on this forum for personal messages? We have been reading various stories on where to put your "stuff" when snorkeling, when we will probably have a soft top jeep, not much security. What have you done? My husband read about a waterproof pouch from Campmor and we are looking at that.
