Not being a person who camps, I was a little concerned about the walk to the bathroom and the "air temperature" showers when booking this vacation at Cinnamon Bay Campground. Having just returned last night I would book this vacation again in a heart beat. It is true that the bathroom and bathhouse are a short walk from the cottage but for the privacy and nearness to the water (31 steps) it is well worth the added inconvenience. When booking I would suggest asking for cottage 9 or 10. Those are the only ones with a small refrigerator and coffee pot. Bugs were not a problem. Our plans are to return in 2010 and pack much lighter. Andi

Glad you enjoyed your stay. It's a funny situation on STJ---only the most expensive and the least expensive accomodations are right on the beach.
