My wife and I plan to bring our 5yr old to STJ, for the first time, and booked a cabin at Cinnamon Bay CG March 29 – April 3. I know that they supply the basics.

Should I buy/bring anything (food, drinks …) from STT or some where on STJ? Would renting a jeep from STT or STJ be a good idea, if we want to spend time on other beaches and sights? Any and all suggestions would be welcome.

If any one has stayed at Cinnamon Bay What would you have done different to make your stay more enjoyable?

We are staying the last 2 nights on STT at the Best Western by the airport so we can catch a 7:30 AM flight on the 6th of April. How are the accommodations and the beach at the BW or should we look for other accommodations that would still allow us to catch an early flight? We would like to spend time around the beach but not around large numbers.

Thank you for your help!

There is a store there at the campground, but prices are nuts. There is the Starfish Market on STJ, in Cruz Bay - or if you want to rent your vehicle on STT, you can load up on groceries and take the barge to STJ. I'd suggest a cooler for the trip as well - ya never know which barge you'll be able to get over....it would suck having your cold stuff spoil.

There is the Food Center right on the way to Red Hook (which is where the barge leaves out of) as well as Marina Market.
