We were thinking about attending a church service while we're on island this year and wondered if any of you have done this and what your experience was like? We would probably go to one of the Baptist churches...
Are the local churches receptive to tourists, and how do they typically dress for services? Does anyone have a good link to a listing of the churches/locations/service times? Thanks!
We attend the Catholic Church in St John.
Vistors are received with a smile and always feel welcomed.
A collared shirt goes along way and nice slacks or sun dress for the ladies
My wife enjoys Mass so much in STJ that next year we plan on going from Palm Sunday to Easter, and all the services in between
I don't see any Baptist churches listed on STJ in the Yellow Pages - in fact out of hundreds of churches listed in the territory there are only three total noted as Baptist. Hopefully someone on STJ can provide more information but you can see all the different churches listed by denomination at www.viphonebook.com. Cheers!
My husband and I were married by Emmanuel Jaggernauth in 2005. He was (I am assuming, still is) the pastor at Cruz Bay Baptist Church. Not sure where the church is located since we were married on the beach. But here is a link that I found that has a phone number if you would like to track down more 411.

Good luck!
