We will be arriving in St John on December 25 - will we find any restaurants or stores open?

Sure be nice if they were home enjoying family and friends

Probably quite a lot will be open, especially if there are cruise ships in STT on that day. On STT most supermarkets and stores are open and many restaurants too!

There will be some places open - personally I have worked a lot of Christmas Days in the past here over the years - it is a busy week and it is a tourist economy - check a lot closer to your arrival as the advertising will be out and people will be able to give you some suggestions.
